Les grandes écoles françaises se rassemblent en Ontario - L'Express

The French "Grandes Ecoles" or Elite French Graduate Schools are very prestigious in France as "Oxbridge" in the UK or the "Ivy League" schools in the US. There are Engineering, Business and Administrative schools. Yet, one must admit that they lack international recognition, even though its graduates are working as top executives around the world. For example , over 400 graduates of the 16 most prestigious French schools are living and working in Ontario.

This is why , I founded AAGEF Ontario. It stands for " Association des Alumni des Grandes Ecoles Françaises " ( Elite French Graduate Schools Alumni ). It also exists in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Montréal.

The mission of AAGEF is
- to promote networking, communication and mutual assistance between its members.
- to improve the recognition of the Elite French Graduate Schools by the Ontario business community.
- to facilitate the relationship between its members and alumni of Ontario Grad Schools of Engineering, Management and Public Administration.

Most of the AAGEF schools have started partnership with their international counterparts around the world and in Ontario. More and more students from all other the world are graduating from these elite graduate schools which will also help achieve our objective.

The list of the 16 schools members of the AAGEF Ontario is the following :
- Business schools : INSEAD, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP Europe, EDHEC, EM Lyon
- Administrative schools : ENA, Sciences Po Paris, ENS Normale Sup
- Engineering schools : X Polytechnique, Centrale, Mines, ENPC Ponts et Chaussées, ENSAM Arts et Métiers, ESE Supelec, ISAE Supaero

AAGEF Ontario organises monthly meetings and manages to gather around 100 graduates each time . For more info, contact me.
